We’re very pleased and excited to announce that The Tinderbox Orchestra have invited us to perform with them at their Edinburgh Queens Hall show on 23rd June. The Tinderbox Project is an Edinburgh based youth orchestra for players aged 13-22 which aims to inspire and educate young people in the contemporary arts, and to involve them in the exciting scene of bands, musicians and other artists and events taking place in Edinburgh and Scotland.
For this concert they’ve put together a 50 piece Orchestra and 30 piece Choir, and will be performing a new set of original compositions and arrangements. In addition to playing our own set we’ll be collaborating with the orchestra as one of their 3 guest bands for the evening. Other acts collaborating with the orchestra on the night are North Atlantic Oscillation and G-Code. We’ve always wanted to play with an orchestra so it’s going to be a very special show!
Tickets are £10/£8 in advance and are available from the Queens Hall here: http://www.thequeenshall.net/whats-on/shows/tinderbox-orchestra
