The ‘Toska EP’ is now out on general release worldwide as a digital download!
“Beautifully restrained work, lush strings and gentle ripples of piano” Clash
“throwing fistfuls of strings and heartbeat bass lines at soaring choruses” NME 8/10
“glimmering piano amidst swooning strings and lashes of guitar finding clarity in disorientating waves of sound” Line Of Best Fit
Tracks: Toska | See You On The Way Down | Ward 3 | Revival
We set off in tandem, in a hired van and Ian’s car, hereafter referred to as The Sconemobile, to the small club under the Noose and Monkey.
Our regular sound engineer Kas was back up from London for the night to jockey the desk, and hear some of the new tracks for the first time in advance of our planned touring for later in the year.
We’re really excited to be able to show you the artwork for the forthcoming Toska EP!
The image is by Marc Atkins, and we’re big fans of his work.
He previously provided the images for Vaughan Oliver’s sleeve design on our last record, Let Me Come Home, so we’re really pleased to be using his work again for the EP and new album sleeve design (we’ll show you that another time).
And just a reminder you can pre-order a limited edition 10″ vinyl copy of the EP which is only available through Pledge
The Toska EP will also be available for general release on download from 24th March. BR x

We’re delighted to reveal the title track from the forthcoming ‘Toska’ E.P. for your streaming pleasure.

Jamie recently took time out from recording sessions of the new album to perform an exclusive track from the forthcoming record for the GoldFlakePaint blog. Watch the track below, entitled “Winterless Son”:
